21 Sep 2026 On Friday, 18 September, the Atlantic Training Institution (ATI) held its 2026 graduation ceremony in Ongwediva, where 600 students received certificates across various courses. ATI is also preparing to expand its facilities. Director Mr Absalom Seburon announced that the site handover for the construction of a new campus and a hospital in Oshakati will take place in November. The new facilities will greatly benefit the community and are expected to absorb most of the graduates, providing vital employment opportunities. The director also reflected on the institution's remarkable growth since its humble beginnings. ATI started with just 7 students in 2019 and today has about 5,000 students across the southern and northern regions. It has also progressed from being unaccredited to achieving full accreditation by the Namibia Qualifications Authority (NQA) and registration with the Health Professions Councils of Namibia (HPCNA). The director urged graduates to remember that their success was driven by commitment, hard work and resilience, and reminded them to keep overcoming obstacles along the way. The ceremony celebrated progress, resilience and a bright future for all graduates.
